Talbot House B&B is situated in the picturesque National Trust village of Lacock; home to the Fox Talbot Museum and Lacock Abbey. Talbot House provides comfortable accommodation and a very welcoming and homely atmosphere…everything you need for a relaxing country getaway!
The B&B is just a short stroll away from the centre of the village, which has a variety of traditional English pubs and charming tearooms. Exploring the village, you’ll uncover many hidden treasures, everything from a bespoke jeweller, an old-world bakery, to an artisan Chocolatiers!
Accommodation
At Talbot House you’ll have the whole B&B to yourself! The double bedroom is light and comfortable and has an en-suite shower and separate bathroom. The bedroom is equipped with a comfy double bed, high quality linen and towels. Guests also have private use of a cosy sitting room with a television and tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a fridge and microwave should you decide to eat in.
Location
Talbot House B&B is a short walk away from the centre of the idyllic village of Lacock. The village provides the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway, with its fantastic selection of traditional pubs, charming tearooms and quaint shops.
Lacock is also a great place for a country stroll: it has acres of woodland, breath-taking Wiltshire landscapes, old thatched cottages and a delightful little ford. The village is well known for its use as a television and film location, most famously in Pride and Prejudice, Cranford, Harry Potter, and Downton Abbey!
Booking & Payment
Availability can be checked on the website, or you can simply give me a call on 01249 730568 if you prefer! Similarly, reservation enquiries can be made online by using the Contact Page or over the phone. Payments will be taken in person in cash at the end of your stay, or BACS just before you come (banking details on request).
Checking in
Check in is from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on your day of arrival. If you wish to arrive outside these times, that’s normally no problem; just get in touch beforehand, and I’ll do my very best to accommodate you!
